Hello. I'm Brian Harte. I photograph people.
Not people standing stock-still like soldiers on parade, or grinning unnaturally, or being on their best behaviour.
Just people being themselves. Laughing, smiling, playing, talking, dancing and running. Doing all the things that people do.
I take the sort of photographs that make people say 'Look - remember when Joe thought he'd forgotten the ring!' or 'Sam's doing her scrunched-up-nose thing!' or 'That's so typically Peter!'
It's called photojournalism. It's the difference between being second row up, third from the left, and just being yourself, with all the little things that make you different.
